Guest artist Volkan Orhon will present a recital of solo works for contrabass by Bach, Fryba, Gompper and Say. Volkan Orhon is Professor of Bass at the University of Iowa. He was the first prize winner in competitions sponsored by the American String Teachers Association and the International Society of Bassists.
