To commemorate the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s birth, the Butler University School of Music prided itself in joining Beethoven celebrations that happened at venues all around the world.
The three string trios of Beethoven’s opus 9 will be performed by Peter Vickery, violin; Davis Brooks, viola; and Austin Huntington, violoncello.
The program includes:
String Trio in D Major, op. 9, no. 2
String Trio in C Minor, op. 9, no. 3
String Trio in G Major, op. 9, no. 1
