To commemorate the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s birth, the Butler University School of Music presented the complete 32 Piano Sonatas in a series of nine recitals. Throughout 2020, Beethoven celebrations happened at venues all around the world, and Butler was proud to present this series as part of the international festivities.
This recital (#2 of 9) includes the following pieces and performers:
Sonata No. 4 in E-flat Major, op. 7, performed by Tiantian Liang, University of Mary
Sonata No. 25 in G Major, op. 79, performed by Geoffrey Stemen, Butler University
Sonata No. 26 in E-flat Major, op. 81a (“Les Adieux”), performed by Hamilton Tescarollo, Purdue University Fort Wayne
