That’s a Wrap!
Our final concert of the season will feature several landmark compositions for wind ensemble, including Igor Stravinsky’s rarely programmed Concerto for Piano and Wind Instruments, performed by Miho Sasaki, co-winner of the 2021 Butler University Concerto Competition. The concert will also include John Philip Sousa’s charming Easter Monday on the White House Lawn, W. Francis McBeth’s stirring Of Sailors and Whales, and James Barnes’ exciting Fantasy Variations on a Theme by Paganini.
