Anthony Kniffen, Instructor of Tuba at Butler University and Principal Tuba with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, will perform standard solo works for the tuba. This COVID-influenced program will include primarily works optimizing social distancing; in other words, not even a pianist will be on stage except for the Hindemith Sonata (first movement) and the Vaughan Williams Concerto for Bass Tuba.
